Nyílt forráskódú elosztott rendszerek
A 2009. évi Szabad Szoftver Konferencián elhangzott előadás követő anyaga.
Az előadás tézise, hogy néhány éven belül nyílt forrású elosztott rendszerek fognak nagy skálájú, nagy megbízhatóságú webes háttérarchitektúrát szolgáltatni. Ezen rendszerek jelenleg a nagy Internetes cégek, mint Google, Amazon és Facebook által nyilvánosságra hozott architektúrák, mérnöki tapasztalatok, illetve forráskódok alapján készülnek. Az előadásban ismertetjük az iparág által felhalmozott tapasztalokat és tervezési pontokat, melyek segítségével jobban átláthatóak az elosztott rendszerek közötti különbségek, előnyök, hátrányok.

PaxosLease whitepaper
A Keyspace rendszerben alkalmazott PaxosLease algoritmus leírása (angol).
This paper describes PaxosLease, a distributed algorithm for lease negotiation. PaxosLease is based on Paxos, but does not require disk writes and does not make clock synchrony and skew assumptions. PaxosLease is used for master lease negotation in the open-source Keyspace replicated key-value store.
